MORE PIECES FOR THE PLAYGROUND

Thanks to Jack Barkley, Wally Baker, Mick Mabo, Laurence Larocque, Ben MacPherson and Rosemary Laurin! They assembled additional pieces of park furniture and set them up in the playground. They put together:

2 benches, 2 tables, 1 frog critter can, 1 recycling canister with two bins.

Thanks to Donnie Lewis for letting us work in the arena and to Veinotte's for storing and retrieving the skids of furniture. If you see any of them around town when you are out and about, please thank! And by all means, enjoy the park this summer!

Kraft Cares

The playground might be covered in snow but the community project is still generating interest. Michael Domanko visited Courtney Maruno at the Kraft plant in Ingleside to accept a $1000 cheque from the Kraft Cares 2011 grant. A warm thank you goes out to the friendly folks at Kraft!
